My currently digital is the Canon digital IXUS, which is also known as the ELPH or S100 in the USA, or the IXY in Japan. Its the smallest digital camera out there, it has 2x optical zoon, 2 megapixel, 1600x1200 max resolution, and takes Compact Flash memory.

Canon annoyingly released an even better model this year, in the same body, but also has a longer battery life, a better digital zoom, and better compression (pictures are 900KB instead of 1500KB on mine), and it can also record sound with a short avi clip.

Before the IXUS, I had a kodak DC240 zoom, also compact flash, but wouldnt go back - the IXUS is so much more convienant to carry around.

My non digital camera kit consists of a Minolta DF-300 body, and three lenses - a 50mm 1.8 standard lens, a 28-70 f3.5-4.5 wide angle zoom, and an 80-200mm f4.5-5.6 telephoto zoom. I've also got polarising lenses, various filter gels, and multi-dedicated flash which works with this camera.

On the Zambezie river, this was amazing how quickly the sun set, it was easy to track the movement of the sun as it dipped behind the mountains. I think the saturation of colours came out really well here, and this could work as a desktop background, even.
